EURUSD is tending towards oversold

The EURUSD is in a mark-down phase. This phase is typically defined by a bearish EMA formation. I.e. the green 5-day EMA < the orange 13-day EMA < the black 34-day EMA. Moreover, the RSI(9) is below 50 and indicative of bearish momentum (blue rectangle). However, it is tending towards 20, which is regarded as oversold.
Price resistance may potentially be at the key level with a confluence of factors including the central pivot (P), price resistance (green rectangle), and 61.8% Fibonacci retracement. The stochastic still needs to move into the overbought area (green ellipse).
The mark-down phase coincides with the Italy’s two populist parties’ choice of Giuseppe Conte as their leading candidate for prime minister in a coalition government.
