Dax Index - Positive overnight flows lead to an expectation of a firm open this morning. Price action is forming a bullish flag which has a bias to break to the upside. Further upside is expected and we look to set longs in early trade. This move is expected to continue and we look to set longs at good risk/reward levels. Levels close to the 38.2% pullback level of 11707 found buyers. Our profit targets will be 11990 and 12050.

EUR/USD flirts with daily highs, retargets 1.1900

Gold is reclaiming part of the ground lost on Wednesday’s marked decline, as bargain-hunters keep piling up and lifting prices past the key $5,000 per troy ounce. The precious metal’s move higher is also underpinned by the slight pullback in the US Dollar and declining US Treasury yields across the curve.
