Black Swan Special Report

One of the objectives of this letter is to find important clusters or convergences of major cycles, to alert you to potential major changes in trend for the markets and major events that could affect your life.

This month, we have three important cycle culminations all pointing to October 24, 2018. I first was alerted to this date when my good friend and cycles research associate, Craig Swain, told me, two weeks before I started working on October, that there were some important cycles converging on October 24. According to Craig, on October 24th, there will be a Full Moon which will be almost exactly 90 degrees from the Moon’s North Node. This only occurs about once or twice, every 18 years. Past occurrences have coincided with major lows in Precious Metals and Grains. Over the nearly 40 years I have written this letter, Craig has been an important contributor as a research associate and suggesting what cycles we should be researching and following.

About two weeks later, I began working on the October letter. I was gathering and organizing the planetary data when I came across that Pluto will hit 0 South Latitude in the early hours of October 24th or as I would usually note, 10/23 AC (AC = After Close). Pluto takes 248 years to orbit the Sun. So, this exact event has not happened for 248 years. Since I was not able to get daily market data for 1770, we will have to go on Astrological theory and call this a possible potential major cycle point. In Astrological theory, when in a negative position, Pluto is considered a very negative factor. It is said, when negative, Pluto takes no prisoners. Pluto is associated with major disasters, upheavals, and war. Astrological theory says that 0 degrees South Latitude, also called the South Node, is a negative point.

Therefore, we have the potential for a major negative event. Once I thought about this, the financial term, “Black Swan” popped into my head. A Black Swan event is some major unexpected disastrous event such as the September 11, 2001 attack or some major natural disaster. For more details on Black Swan Theory, please see Wikipedia’s article at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_swan_theory . Please note that I had to rely on Astrological theory to come to some conclusions above. The markets and real life have been known to ignore Astrological theory and sometimes even turn it upside down. However, the Pluto cycle and the Moon cycle convergence, potentially paint a very bleak picture and it is always better to be forewarned than not prepared. But wait, we are not quite done yet. While doing the Market Math research for the Stock Market, the only date that was generated for October, I bet you guessed it, was October 24th. From the August 9, 1982 low, 115 squared days, or 13,225 days, equals October 24th, 2018. WOW!
