Bitcoin advanced past the $62000 mark during the weekend on expectation that new Bitcoin ETFs will hit the US market from as soon as this week, and could bring in some institutional money and help the coin claiming a new record.

But the markets were moody on Asia on news that the Chinese economic growth slowed sharply in the third quarter to 4.9% from 7.9% printed last month.

Among many company earnings due this week, Netflix and Tesla are under the spotlight. Expectations are good, but investors want fireworks!

Elsewhere, the British and European inflation should reveal a strong inflation and boost the expectations of a first rate hike in Britain, and revive some ECB hawks despite the extra-soft narrative from Christine Lagarde on rising inflation figures.
