Hang Seng Bank Limited is a Hong Kong-based banking and financial services company with headquarters in Central, Hong Kong. It is one of Hong Kong's leading public companies in terms of market capitalisation and is part of the HSBC Group, which holds a majority equity interest in the bank.
The shares are entering a weak time of the year. From February 19 through to March 18 the shares have fallen sixteen times in the last twenty-one years. The average return has been -3.04% over the last 21 years. Is this a good time to sell Hang Seng shares before their seasonal strong run higher from March through to May?
Trade Risks: The main risk to this outlook is if the reflation trade keeps supporting bank stocks higher.
