White House Budget Chief Mulvaney: Trump did not try to influence Fed

The U.S. Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney recently crossed the wires saying that President Trump did not try to influence the Federal Reserve with his recent comments and added that he wished the Fed would give more attention to the supply side of the economy.

The US Dollar Index didn't show a noteworthy reaction to these comments and was down 0.6% on the day at 94.60.
