US Treasury: Expecting to hit debt ceiling in second half of 2019 unless Congress acts

In a recently published statement, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced that it expected to hit the debt ceiling in the second half of the year unless Congress acts and added that the bill issuance was expected to gradually decline over the remainder of the second quarter, "largely reflecting debt limit constraints."
