US N. Korea negotiator: Direct diplomacy and sanctions need to be exercised

Joseph Yun, The US Special Representative for North Korea Policy, told reporters in Bangkok on Friday, the US should engage in direct diplomacy with North Korea alongside sanctions imposed over its nuclear programme, Reuters reports.
