US: ISM Manufacturing Index to rise to 55.5 in June – TDS

Analysts at TD are looking for the US ISM Manufacturing Index to rise to 55.5 in June from 54.9, above the market consensus for 55.0.

“Regional PMI survey were broadly upbeat and the upside surprise in last Friday’s Chicago PMI report. Motor vehicle sales for June will also trickle out throughout the day. Auto sales have been a source of serial disappointment thus far in 2017 and we expect this trend to continue. TD looks for unit sales to decelerate to 16.4m, below the 16.5m consensus.”
