US: Atlanta Fed's GDPNow rises to 3.7% for Q3 after latest US data

The real gross domestic product (GDP) in the United States is expected to grow by 3.7% in the third quarter of 2021, up slightly from 3.6% on September 16, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's latest GDPNow report showed on Tuesday.
"After this morning's housing starts report from the US Census Bureau, the nowcast of third-quarter real residential investment growth increased from -1.6% to -1.5%," Atlanta Fed explained in its publication.
Market reaction
This report doesn't seem to be having a noticeable impact on the greenback's performance against its rivals. As of writing, the US Dollar Index was unchanged on the day at 93.22.
