US airstrikes hit Assad regime forces in Southern Syria

The US-led coalition fighting ISIS says it hit Assad regime forces in Southern Syria after warning shots, a show of force and similar efforts by Russia failed to dissuade those troops from moving into the "de-conflicted area”.

The air strike hit a tank and a bull dozer and forces there, US officials said.

The financial markets have not really paid any attention to the news, which is evident from the calm in the Yen pairs.
