Analysts at TD Securities are looking for the UK’s both headline and core inflation to pick up to 2.0% y/y in March (mkt: headline 2.0%, core 1.9%).
“Core inflation is likely to stick around this level for the remainder of the year (with an upside bias), but headline inflation will jump 0.3ppt in April owing to energy price hikes.”
