Little progress in US China trade talks, but 'scrambling to produce an agreement' – FT

The Financial Times (FT) is out with a story now, quoting "people briefed on the negotiations", as saying that there is little progress on the core issues, but “both sides were scrambling to at least produce a "memorandum of understanding" by the end of Friday”.
The “memorandum of understanding” (MOU) is the one that will call on for a Xi - Trump summit meeting next month.
