According to the latest headlines floating on the wires, the Labour Party spokesman denied an earlier report that talks with the government have stalled.

It is worth mentioning that the Guardian was out with a report earlier today, citing Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s comments that signalled the cordial tone of the negotiations were faltering.

The clarification helped ease some fresh bearish pressure surrounding the British Pound and helped the GBP/USD pair to defend important support near the 1.3050-40 region.
