Japan's Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Hiroshige Seko delivered some comments on Japan's stance on the US' metal tariffs.
Japan's Seko noted that his office has not yet decided what specific action they are going to take on the US metal tariffs, and Japan intends to continue to negotiate with the US. Seko also noted that he has not decided whether or not to formally notify the WTO of Japan's intent to retaliate.
