Germany’s Scholz: EU has acted quickly to offset economic impact of coronavirus

The European Union (EU) has acted quickly to offset the economic impact of the coronavirus outbreak, Germany’s Finance Minister Olaf Scholz said on Friday.
On Thursday, the EU national leaders agreed to ask the European Commission with revamping the bloc's next budget and outline an economic recovery plan to tackle the virus crisis. Although they are yet to offer the details of the fiscal stimulus plan.
