EUR/USD Technical Analysis: Room for the continuation of the sideline theme in the near term

  • The pair continues its multi-session rangebound pattern following another rejection from recent tops in levels above the key 1.1600 handle .
  • The pair gained some extra downside pressure after breaking below the 100-hour SMA, today at 1.1575, while the initial support aligns at the 10-day SMA at 1.1542.
  • A deeper pullback should see October’s low at 1.1430 retested ahead of the critical 200-week SMA, today at 1.1323.

The market is paying for insurance, not apocalypse
