China’s state news agency, Xinhua, reports that China’s ruling Communist Party’s top decision-making body met earlier today, with the country’s current economic situation at the top of the agenda.

The Chinese President Xi Jinping chaired the politburo meeting, but the details of the meeting are not available, Xinhua adds.
