Canada's MacNaughton: Confident Canada will end up with trilateral trade deal

Testifying in Washington, David MacNaughton, Canada's ambassador to the U.S., said that he was confident that they would be able to reach a trilateral trade deal, as reported by Reuters.
MacNaughton further added that US President Donald Trump's optimistic comments regarding NAFTA negotiations were not surprising and explained that he was encouraged by the voices in the U.S. who were speaking up in favor of an integrated auto industry supply chain.
