Ripple releases $1 million grant to a non-profit: XRP/USD waits patiently for triangle breakout

Ripple, a leading blockchain company has announced that it has released $1 million grant to a non-profit organization, referred to as Tipping Point. The non-profit is based in the Bay Area in San Francisco and deals with several charitable causes. The donation will be utilized to fight corruption in the region and to “help individuals and families struggling to meet their basic needs.”

The announcement made via a blog post said that Tipping Point has already collected $150,000 since 2005. The funds have gone towards aiding at least 21,000 people dealing with poverty.

A section of the blog post reads:

“As part of our partnership, Ripple will work collaboratively with Tipping Point to explore ways to make the Bay Area more financially equitable and inclusive. We’ll put our heads together with experienced leaders from Tipping Point and its amazing grantee organizations to focus on increasing upward economic mobility for Bay Area workers and families.”

XRP price overview

XRP/USD currently exchanges at $0.3142 and is down 0.2% on Friday. The upside is limited at $0.32 while short-term support is established at $0.3050. Moreover, the price is between the 50 SMA resistance and the 100 SMA support. XRP is also forming a contracting triangle that is approaching a breakout in the coming sessions. However, the price must clear the resistance at $0.32 to give the breakout a boost as XRP/USD explores the levels towards $0.35.
