Dear Fellow-Stargazers,

Happy Full Moon!

According to a study by an international team of researchers, Earth's seismic noise level dropped by an average of 50% between March and May 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown. Wouldn't it be nice to think that as the noise levels dropped, we each tuned in to natural vibrations and listened to our inner voices and creativity? If you haven’t already done so, take a notebook and jot down those ideas and plans before the noise increases again.

Much has been written about January 2020’s rare alignment in Capricorn which is now prompting a financial reset for countries and individuals alike.

During the enforced lockdown many people have discovered or rediscovered latent talent and interests. This is only just beginning to manifest into new businesses.

Advances in the field of medicine have been made as the search for Covid-19 vaccine gathered momentum, and many people have found benefit in new ways of working. Earth has benefitted too – with decreased pollution.

The future is in thinking differently. We can’t go back.

2022: I have just completed a first draft of the economic forecast for the Llewellyn’s Moon book for 2022. That year is dominated by the right angle between Saturn and Uranus; with the latter conjoined the North node as it was in the early 1930s. Tempting as it is to draw the conclusion that another depression is around the corner, we know that though history repeats, it never repeats exactly. We should then, be on the lookout for investment opportunities in new ideas and concepts that are presently below the radar, but which will surely appear on it after the Jupiter Saturn alignment in Aquarius at the end of this year.

CRYPTOS: I had thought that this August Full Moon would be significant for crypto currencies. I still believe that to be the case. It's interesting that many of these experienced a surge last week as Jupiter sextiled Neptune. This August Full moon picks up the degree of the forthcoming Saturn Uranus square. Cryptos are most definitely tied to this cycle.

Another factor that leads me to think that cryptos will be much in the news and yes, could increase in value in the last quarter of the year, is that Mercury stations at precisely 11° of the fixed signs - again accenting that Saturn Uranus square. I'd love someone to pay me to do super in-depth research on these. My overview though suggests that block chains of all kinds will be much in the news and that the key dates will be around the October 16 New Moon and, for a possible high, mid-November after Mars turns direct.

GOLD: gold has already started its forward march. I expect further strong moves at the end of August.

EQUITIES: In ‘Exploring the Financial Universe’, I discussed a roughly 18 year business cycle. This is broken into two distinct parts of 14 + 4years. The first part of the cycle contains a mid-cycle low but not always after precisely 7 years. I think that this will come in 2022 and be followed by a surge in equity prices for roughly 4 years before we reach a recession. This month I anticipate an upward push into Friday, August 14. Things could come unstuck the following week…………

WEATHER: ……….this might in part be due to natural calamity. That weekend (15/16 Aug) especially could see storms and landslides. Though markets do not always react to the costs of insurance, repair and reconstruction, by the next Full Moon on September 2, it may not be possible to ignore these developments and for indices to decline.

POLITICS: Earlier this year I was corrected by my American colleagues when I suggested that the Presidential election might be postponed. I did not understand that the constitution would not permit this. Yet it is now clear that this will be – at best – a ‘messy’ election result. The August Leo New Moon on August 19 could coincide with new – and yes rash, statements and decisions that make clear just how troublesome this election will be. A by-product is that investors may choose to run for what they consider to be safe havens (gold etc).

PANDEMIC –S: And finally there is Covid 19 still rampaging across the world and now mutating into other – as yet unnamed – viruses with pandemic potential. We clearly have to learn to live with restrictions which could yet be tougher this September and which are unlikely to lift even in 2021.

UPDATE: you may remember that the last Full Moon coincided with Saturn’s return to Capricorn. Later that day my husband, Michael, had another collapse and since then has been in hospital where no visits are allowed. This has not been the easiest of months. We are hopeful that he will return home soon and have a comprehensive care package in place for when he does.

I have used this enforced separation to prepare the 2022 forecast and write articles for the website. You might enjoy the one on Vesta which you can find here: https://www.financialuniverse.co.uk/vesta-traders-asteroid/

We are agreed that we simply cannot delay my financial astrology teaching much longer. If you are already on my ‘interested students’ list you will receive a reading list today. I have also made a few suggestions as to the way forward and look forward to your response.

EVENTS: A Zoom event for a Meet Up group in Dublin is planned for September. This event will focus on the outlook for Europe.

Then, on Sunday Sept. 13, I am taking part in the panel to discuss the US presidential election which is part of ISAR’s revised conference program. You can find details: https://isarastrology.org/en-gb/conference/

Until the next newsletter, hoping that wherever you are, you are safe, well, content and surrounded by good friends and neighbours.

Yours from the stars
