Chart

BOJ Interest Rates 2023 to 2024. The BOJ slowly and already began to cut interest rates. The highs of the 2024 line will travel to the bottom of the 2023 line. The headline rate was never changed nor will it adjust in April or May or 2024. The BOJ proposal is a 10 point change or 5 more points than the 2023 jump. The BOJ could cover another 5 points easily and never touch the headline rate.

Chart

The BOJ releases trade data on Tuesday and this data is far more important than a few Inflation points as profound effects will be determined for the USD/JPY exchange rate to next moves and possible intervention.
