ECB’s Rehn: “I am concerned about Eurozone economy but we are not forecasting any recession”

The European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council member Rehn is reported by Reuters, as saying that “I am concerned about the Eurozone economy but we are not forecasting any recession”.
He added: “We are ready to act as appropriate unless there is an improvement in economic conditions.”

Euro area is facing short-term challenges now, mostly linked to trade tensions.
ECB's main goal is to make sure we meet price stability target.
