Coca-Cola (KO Stock): The catalyst will be the announcement of the US CPI

Today’s instrument is the Coca-Cola Co‘s stock traded in NYSE exchange under the ticker KO.

Looking at the KO‘s chart, we can see that it was lastly traded around $60.60 and in the pre-market session it is slightly up at around $60.95. This could hint that the market’s anticipation for today’s announcement of the quarterly earnings is positive, therefore we should expect it to test the resistance level at around $61.30 before deciding on the final direction. The catalyst will be the announcement of the US CPI at 15:30 (GMT+2) which will support the final direction.
