Breaking: Palantir results miss, Earnings per share loss but revenue beats

Shares in Palantir are falling during early Tuesday trade as the company announced a surprising Earnings Per Share (EPS) loss for Q4 2020. Analysts had been expecting EPS of $0.02 but instead, Palantir (PLTR) announced a loss of $0.08 for the quarter.
Palantir did at least beat the revenue number with Q4 sales of $322 million ahead of the estimate for $300 million.
Market Reaction
Shares in Palantir (PLTR) are suffering in early pre-market trading as investors had been bullish on the stock. Shares are trading under $30 at $29.80 at the time of writing a loss of 6%.
