BDI: German economy likely to grow by around 2.25% in 2018 - RTRS

Dieter Kempf, the president of the German BDI industry association, predicted that the German economy will probably grow by around 2.25% in 2018, according to the text of a speech seen by Reuters.
Kempf noted that he did not see any real risk of overheating, adding that the main risks for Europe’s largest economy emanated from abroad.
On the US corporate tax rate cut to 21% from 35%, Kempf said that would “massively” increase tax competition.
