Ethereum Phase Zero Code likely to Be Completed by the end of June
- Ethereum core developers give a deadline for Phase Zero Code implementation for Ethereum PoS Transition.
- Phase zero was first released in its first pre-release in January 2019.

Ethereum core developers announced in a meeting that Phase Zero Code for Ethereum(ETH) PoS transition can be completed by June 30. Ethereum researcher Justin Drake said that the developer team is likely to prepare code specifications for phase zero by the end of June. Drake said:
“We’re still very much on track. Still, [code] simplifications are coming through, which is great and the process of fine combing is also for finding these final bugs.”
Phase zero is the name of the first phase transition stage of the Ethereum ne==The Phase Zero shift also known as Beacon Chain is a part of a network transition to Ethereum 2.0. The key role in this transition belongs to the validators instead of miners in this new system. A third-party audit of the Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC)-resistant PoW algorithm ProgPoW was funded as reported by Ethereum core developer Hudson Jameson.
