Fed Chair Janet Yellen and quite a few other senior central bankers gather in Jackson Hole. Will we get some clarity on the future of monetary policy? Bernanke did that in the past, but Yellen skipped the chance or skipped the event altogether. While a rate hike in September is off the cards, markets are wondering whether the USD remains the cleanest shirt in the dirty pile or just another currency with a low-interest rate attached to it. The timing means volatility could be quite significant.
