"The Republican-controlled House of Representatives took a major step toward the first U.S. tax overhaul in a generation on Thursday, by passing a comprehensive package of tax cuts for businesses and individuals," Reuters recently reported.

The market reaction to this development was virtually non-existent. The US Dollar Index is at 93.80, up 0.1% on the day.
