Key data for GBP: market looking for September's Services PMI to decline a touch to 54.0 - TDS

Analysts at TD Securities explained that they are in line with the market looking for September's Services PMI to decline a touch to 54.0.

Key Quotes:

"This would leave it comfortably in the middle of the 52 to 56 range that the index has been sitting in for the past two years."

"Theresa May takes the stage for her headline Conservative Party Conference speech, due sometime between 10am and 12:30pm BST."

"Like much of the conference so far, the tone is likely to be strongly anti-EU and pro-Brexit, as she is speaking to the party's core base. The post-Brexit immigration plans announced on Tuesday are likely to form a key centrepiece of her speech."
