Japanese Cabinet Secretary Suga was reported by Reuters, as saying that the auto import restriction by the US would adversely impact us and the global economy.

Earlier today, Japanese trade negotiator, Kazuhisa Shibuya, noted that the topic of the country’s auto export restriction to the US did not come up during talks, as cited by Jiji.
