The broad-based USD rally will run out of steam within the next months, according to a Reuters poll of foreign exchange strategists.

The latest poll of more than 60 currency analysts surveyed by Reuters suggests most major currencies will be trading higher against the greenback in six months and in a year.

Key points

29 of 52 analysts said they were not confident the dollar would be able to maintain its strength over the next six months.

37 of 52 analysts said they were not confident the greenback rally would last a year.
