RBNZ's New Zealand 2 year inflation expectations for Q3 a tad higher at 2.04% y/y
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand’s (RBNZ) quarterly inflation expectations survey showed the Q3 in at 2.04% y/y for 2 year, slightly higher than the Q2 result of 2.01%. Meanwhile, 1-year expectations stood at 1.86%.
RBNZ Assistant Governor McDermott noted that non-tradeable inflation, inflation expectations are key influences on the OCR track.
