Breaking News: US Pres. Trump said to complain about Fed's Powell raising rates
According to Bloomberg, at a fundraiser at the Hamptons on Friday, President Trump complained to wealthy Republicans about the Fed chairman Powell's monetary policy decisions and said that he expected Jerome Powell to be "a cheap-money Fed chairman."
The US Dollar Index quickly fell to a session low of 96 on these headlines and was last seen down 0.07% on the day at 96.07.
