BOE MPC votes 6-2 to keep policy unchanged

The Bank of England [BoE} Monetary Policy Committee {MPC} voted 6-2 as expected to keep interest rates on hold at a record low of 0.25pc.
The Committee voted unanimously to maintain the stock of UK government bond purchases, financed by the issuance of central bank reserves, at £435 billion.
