Stellar Lumens (XLM) can now be directly stored in the Coinbase Wallet app.
- Coinbase Wallet announces support for Stellar Lumens (XLM), users will be able to utilize upon next update.
- They will roll this out to users over the next week for all iOS and Android users.

Coinbase in a blog today updated its users, noting that Stellar Lumens (XLM) cannot be stored within their Coinbase Wallet app. Already it supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, XRP, and over 100,000 different ERC20 tokens and ERC721 collectibles built on Ethereum.
Within the blog it noted that once the new Wallet update takes place, users will be able to take advantage of XLM support. It will roll out to all users on iOS and Android over the next week.
Coinbase advised:
To activate your XLM wallet — all you need to do is tap ‘Receive’ on the main wallet tab and select XLM. The Stellar network requires that all wallets have a minimum balance of 1 Lumen, so please fund your account with at least 1 Lumen.
