Number of publishers on the Brave platform exceed 500,000

  • Brave, a crypto-powered browser, has half a million verified publishers seeking to earn its Basic Attention Token (BAT) from users.
  • Publishers can either keep their earned BAT tokens or tip it through several platforms.

Crypto-powered browser Brave has half a million verified publishers looking to earn its Basic Attention Token (BAT) from users. According to BATGrowth data, the number of verified Brave browser publishers has been growing steadily since the launch. Verified publishers can receive BAT rewards from the browser.

As of now, there are more than 300,000 YouTube publishers registered with Brave, over 48,000 websites, 59,000 Twitter publishers, 44,900 Twitch publishers and over 49,000 Reddit publishers. The browser also has publishers from Vimeo and GitHub. Verified publishers comprise well-known YouTubers with millions of subscribers and some of the world’s largest websites.

According to an earlier CryptoGlobe report, Brave added one million users in March during the coronavirus crisis. This came shortly after the browser partnered with the TAP Network to let its users redeem BAT for “real-world rewards” with over 250,000 brands, including Uber and Xbox.

At the time, Brave had tweeted:

Today's desktop browser update (1.7.92) features integration with the @TAPCOIN Network. Now Brave users can redeem BAT earned from viewing opt-in, privacy-preserving Brave Ads for real-world rewards from 250,000 brands like Starbucks, Apple, and Target.

The Brave browser uses an innovative model that rewards users with BAT for viewing ads on it. The tokens are sent to publishers based on the attention users give them. Publishers can either keep the BAT tokens or tip it through several platforms.
