ETHBTC flashback: Ethereum could be ready to outperform Bitcoin again [Video]

Back on July 20, we highlighted a breakout in ETHBTC that signaled growing altcoin strength.

Now, the pair is showing another potentially bullish setup, with the current Elliott Wave structure suggesting that the correction may be nearing completion.

After identifying a five-wave impulse into wave A/1, we can now see an abc correction developing within the projected wave B/2. This correction may be approaching its final stages, with potential support in the 0.028–0.027 area.

If this scenario plays out, ETHBTC could soon resume its advance within wave C or wave 3, supporting the view that Ethereum and potentially other altcoins could outperform Bitcoin over the coming days and weeks. However, bullish momentum may only gain confirmation above 0.032, making this a key level to watch.

The BTC.D/OTHERS.D ratio also offers an interesting perspective. Although the ratio continues to recover as Bitcoin outperforms the broader altcoin market, it may be approaching the end of wave Y within a higher-degree complex WXY correction. If this structure completes, the ratio could turn lower again, potentially signaling renewed altcoin strength during the next market recovery.
