One bearish gap

S&P 500 had the first opportunity to react to weekend Mideast developments, and it did both flush and attempt to bottom premarket – my game plan was about seeing a bit more dumping and rebalancing after the opening bell, however the buyers took over right in the first minute, and then it was about getting long with nimble intraday clients to cash in on the reversal – and just as diligently to protect open gains at the very top.
Then, the euphoria ran out, and swing clients remained positioned for the steep downside we saw unfold today premarket. Another rip off the opening bell ahead – or is this time the discounting of Mideast events to last longer?
