Japan's Aso: Will respond to coronavirus impact depending on urgency

Japanese government will take necessary steps to mitigate the negative impact of coronavirus on the economy depending on the urgency, Japan's Finance Minister Taro Aso said on Friday, according to Reuters News.
Aso said the government was closely watching the the impact on inbound tourism and overall economy.
Japan recorded 33 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, the highest one-day increase since the outbreak began, according to numbers released by the Health Ministry.
