Japan trade minister Seko - Retaliatory actions vs US tariffs won't have any benefit

Retaliatory actions against US tariffs would not have any benefit, Japanese trade minister Seko said in a statement today.
Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono said that United States' decision to impose tariffs on steel aluminum was "regrettable" and will likely have a "big impact" on economic ties between Japan and the United States
Meanwhile, Japanese Finance Minister Aso believes the tariffs will disturb global steel and aluminum markets and has reportedly said that Japan will take necessary action in World Trade Organization (WTO).
