Bank of France cuts 2018, 2019 growth forecasts

The Bank of France cut its growth forecast for 2018 and now expects GDP to expand by 1.6% this year instead of the 1.8% estimated three months ago. France's central bank cited a weaker-than-expected start as one of the reasons for lowering this year's forecast.
Additional forecasts:
• 2019 GDP growth forecast lowered to 1.6% from 1.7% in June.
• 2018 HICP inflation forecast raised to 2.1% from 2.0% previous.
• 2019 HICP inflation forecast raised to 1.7% from 1.5% previous.
