XRPayments officially launched on iOS app store and Google Play

  • XRPL Labs have designed XRPayments.
  • They have been working tirelessly to support XRP adoption

Ripple-focussed startup XRPL Labs has officially launched a retail app called “XRPayments” on the Google Play and iOS app store. The app helps to convert any smartphone into a Point-of-Sale (PoS) system for Ripple-focused payments.

XRPL Labs co-founder, Wietse Wind, tweeted:

“Right on time! Our XRPayments app was just accepted by Google and Apple. You can get the app now from the Apple iOS or Google Play store, and start accepting $XRP for payments in your physical store!”

Xpring, Ripple’s fundraising arm, has invested in XRPL Labs, who have been working tirelessly to support the use and adoption of the XRP token. Some of the projects they have been working on are:

  • XRPTipBot: A platform that enables sending and receiving of XRP on multiple social media platforms.
  • A platform that allows users to access funds on their mobile devices.
  • A mobile cold storage operating system.
  • A web-based decentralized exchange.
