Kucoin’s KuMEX to launch Bitcoin monthly contracts

  • KuMEX monthly Bitcoin contracts will debut in the market in a few weeks.
  • Futures contracts become the goose that lays golden eggs as exchanges rush to get a share of the pie.

An announcement on the official Twitter account of KuMEX, the futures platform of Kucoin exchange revealed that monthly Bitcoin contracts will soon launch on the platform.

Information regarding the launch of the product is yet to be shared with the public. However, the community is expected to receive updates as the launch date nears. On the other hand, Kucoin has announced changes to its exchange center. Some of the changes affected areas such as markets, the display, orders and order books.

Bitcoin futures trading has become the way to go for most cryptocurrency exchange. Binance’s recently launched futures platform recorded an all-time 24-hour volume of $700 million on October 15. Bakkt exchange is also offering Bitcoin futures that are physically settled, although it is still struggling with low volumes.
