Research Team at TDS, suggests that the US housing starts are forecast to rebound in September following a 5.8% decline the prior month.
“TD expects starts to increase by 0.2% m/m to 1165k while permits should post a 0.5% m/m increase to 1158k, providing a modest boost to future residential construction. The market is comparatively more upbeat on both accounts and expects 1175k housing starts and 1165k building permits. In the afternoon we will receive the latest version of the Fed's Beige Book.”
