Japan's Aso: Now is not the time to withdrawal fiscal support

Japan's Financial Minister, Taro Aso has explained that when it is time to shift from the covid-19 crisis mode to a fiscal restoration it will be crucial and timing should be coordinated among major economies.
Aso added that most G7 countries such as Japan, the UK, US and France agree now is not the time to withdrawal fiscal support for pandemic-hit economies.
In a different light, however, he explained that japan is recovering faster than it did after the financial crisis.
Meanwhile, markets are trading in a risk-on environment as investors bank on a faster than first anticipated economic recovery pertaining to the vaccine roll-out and US stimulus.
Consequently, the Nikkei rallied through the 30,000 mark for the first time since 1990 at the start of this week. The yen is offered across the crosses.
