Your TradingView Indicator could disappear on November 1st [Video]

Paying for a private TradingView indicator? On November 1st, 2026, TradingView is changing the rules for commercial invite-only scripts, and it could affect your indicator, your subscription and the price you pay.

TradingView will no longer allow creators to sell access to invite-only indicators directly through Stripe, PayPal or Whop. All paid indicator sales must move to the TradingView Marketplace through its Creator Program. That includes indicators bundled with trading courses, Discord communities and coaching programs.

In this video I break down what the new TradingView rules mean for traders: what happens to lifetime access, what happens when your monthly or annual subscription comes up for renewal, why more than 1,000 creators are waiting for Marketplace approval, and why your indicator could end up moving to another platform like MT5 or NinjaTrader.

I also cover the 0% platform fee, why TradingView's terms allow it to change, and how that could eventually affect what you pay for indicators.

Questions to ask your indicator provider before November 1st:

  • What happens when my current paid period ends?
  • Have you applied to the TradingView Marketplace?
  • If you're waiting on approval, what happens to my access?
  • Will my price or billing cycle change?
  • Is my lifetime purchase documented?
  • If you leave TradingView, where is the indicator going?
