Breaking: Bitcoin price hits $40,000 for the first time ever

Bitcoin price just hit $40,225 for the first time in history on all exchanges.
The digital asset has been trading in an unstoppable rally since October 2020.

Bitcoin has now hit $40,000 for the first time ever reaching a market capitalization of $742 billion while the entire market capitalization of the cryptocurrency industry hit $1,071,751,000,000.

It seems that Bitcoin price will continue to rise even higher as there is very little resistance to the upside. Today, other prominent cryptocurrencies like XRP also had major breakouts, rising by more than 40%.
