CXM is a multi-asset CFD broker offering 1,000+ instruments across seven asset classes, with a wide choice of accounts and trading platforms. Traders can choose between spread-only and commission-based pricing, with access through MT4, MT5, CXM Trader and TradingView. Low minimum deposits and Cent trading make CXM accessible to beginners, while tighter-spread accounts provide an alternative for more active and experienced traders.
One of CXM's more distinctive features is its high leverage. Forex, Gold and Silver can be traded with leverage of up to 2000:1, while eligible Standard and ECN clients can apply for unlimited leverage. CXM operates through several regulated entities, with the level of protection depending on where a client's account is held. Its retail-facing entities are regulated in Mauritius, Seychelles and Cambodia, while the wider group includes an FCA-regulated UK entity serving professional clients and eligible counterparties rather than regular retail clients.
CXM also supports scalping, hedging and automated trading, alongside copy trading and PAMM accounts. Customer service is available 24 hours throughout the main trading week, with additional weekend support, giving clients access to assistance beyond standard market hours.
Note (if applicable): When reviewing CXM, it is important to emphasize that the broker operates several entities across different regions, each with varying levels of regulatory oversight, services, and customer experiences. Therefore, for fairness and accuracy, we have based our scoring on the best-performing region for each factor under review.

- CXM Trader Account: Suited to traders who prefer a browser-based trading environment rather than relying solely on MetaTrader. The account requires a $100 minimum deposit, uses commission-free, spread-only pricing and offers leverage up to 2000:1, depending on account equity. CXM Trader accounts can also be connected directly to TradingView, allowing traders to use TradingView's charting and analysis tools and execute trades from its interface.
- ECN Account: Aimed at active and more experienced traders looking for tighter spreads with commission-based pricing. The account starts from $100 and charges $4 per lot, per round turn, providing an alternative to CXM's spread-only accounts. Leverage reaches 1000:1 on Forex, Gold and Silver at lower equity levels, while eligible ECN clients can also apply for unlimited leverage.

The higher entry requirement makes it more suited to experienced or better-capitalised traders.
- FIX API Account: A specialist account aimed at advanced and professional traders requiring FIX API connectivity. It has the highest entry requirement by far at $50,000, with leverage up to 300:1. Its higher minimum deposit and specialist connectivity place it well outside the needs of most retail traders.

Lot sizes
CXM supports standard, mini and micro lot trading, with a minimum Forex trade size of 0.01 lots across its account range, including Standard, ECN, Zero, Cent and CXM Trader. On standard Forex contracts, 1.00 lot represents 100,000 units, 0.10 lots represents 10,000 units and 0.01 lots represents 1,000 units.
The Cent account also supports trading from 0.01 lots, but uses smaller contract sizes, allowing traders to take significantly smaller monetary exposures than with a standard Forex contract.
For other asset classes, minimum trade sizes and contract specifications vary by instrument.
Leverage
CXM offers very high leverage, although the maximum available depends on the account type, account equity and asset class. Under its standard dynamic leverage policy, Forex, Gold and Silver can reach 2000:1, while eligible Standard and ECN clients can also apply for unlimited leverage, subject to additional requirements.

Unlimited leverage does not apply across the entire product range. Instruments that are not eligible remain subject to CXM's standard leverage and margin requirements.
- Special leverage conditions:
- Cryptocurrencies: Selected major cryptocurrencies on MT5 can offer leverage of up to 100:1, while lower leverage applies to other crypto instruments. Where net exposure in an individual cryptocurrency exceeds one lot, additional risk-increasing trades are subject to 10:1 leverage.
- Market conditions: CXM may temporarily reduce leverage on new trades around significant news events and near daily or weekly market close. Under its current leverage policy, new positions around specified news events can be capped at 200:1, while certain trades near market close can be capped at 100:1. Existing positions and instruments subject to fixed margin requirements are treated separately.
Execution quality
CXM describes its execution model as STP/ECN, sourcing prices from external liquidity providers including banks, institutional trading venues and executing brokers. Its Best Execution Policy states that its system selects the best available price from these sources and that client transactions may be transmitted to external liquidity providers. Under CXM's Terms of Business, however, CXM acts as principal and is the contractual counterparty to client trades.
User Experience: During our testing, trades were executed successfully, although we experienced small amounts of both positive and negative slippage and occasional delays when opening new positions. Spreads generally remained around the levels recorded during our testing, although we noticed brief periods of widening on some instruments.
We also experienced a brief MetaTrader freeze lasting several seconds following the release of US inflation data. This was an isolated occurrence during our testing, but is worth noting for traders who operate around high-impact economic releases.
- CXM supports a range of trading strategies, including hedging, scalping and algorithmic trading. Traders can hold opposing positions in the same instrument, while automated strategies can be run through Expert Advisors (EAs) on MT4 and MT5.
Tools and Resources: Strong platform choice with direct TradingView trading
CXM provides a strong selection of trading platforms, combining the established MT4 and MT5 platforms with its proprietary CXM Trader platform and direct TradingView connectivity. This gives traders a choice between the familiar MetaTrader environment, automated trading capabilities and a more modern browser-based experience. CXM Trader accounts can be connected directly to TradingView, allowing clients to analyse markets and execute trades from the TradingView interface while retaining the charting, indicators, alerts and other functionality available through their TradingView plan.
The wider toolkit also includes Agentic AI Trading, providing AI-assisted trading tools through MT5 and TradingView, alongside FIX API connectivity, copy trading, PAMM solutions, Trading Central analysis and VPS hosting. Educational resources are also available, although access to video tutorials varies by region, while market and industry content is more widely accessible across CXM's regional websites.

Additional trading tools
- CXM offers a dedicated social copy trading platform where clients can follow other traders and automatically copy their trades into their own MetaTrader accounts. A Ratings & Statistics module helps compare providers, with controls for volume, maximum loss, lot size and copying multipliers. Copy trading is available on MT4 and MT5, including Cent accounts, while providers can set performance fees and minimum account balances.
- During our review, performance varied considerably between providers. Some showed high historical returns but also substantial drawdowns, so past returns alone may not fully reflect the risk involved.
- CXM also offers a PAMM service, where investors allocate capital to a Money Manager whose trades are distributed across participating investor accounts. A separate PAMM Investor account is created from the client's personal trading account, with performance statistics and reporting available to help compare managers.
Education
- CXM's educational offering varies by region, with resources including Trading 101 videos, platform and account tutorials, and trading-tool guides. During our testing, video education was available when connecting from Colombia but not from Argentina, where the educational content was mainly limited to market and industry material. We found additional localised educational and video content across a number of CXM's Asian websites.
Other tools
- CXM provides an economic calendar directly on its website, covering upcoming economic releases and market-moving events, with previous figures and forecasts. The calendar is provided by a third party and can be used to keep track of events that may affect market volatility. CXM also links to the MQL5 Economic Calendar, which provides more detailed filtering and customisation options.
- CXM provides an active market analysis service through the Client Portal. During our testing, new trading opportunities were published throughout the day, combining technical analysis with potential market setups across different instruments. Clients can also access market news and commentary alongside these trading ideas.
- CXM also offers Agentic AI Trading, providing AI-assisted trading tools through MT5 and TradingView. Compatible AI agents can be used with MT5 to assist with trading tasks, while CXM Trader users can access TradingView's AI Copilot for chart analysis, strategy development and market screening. Availability and functionality may vary by platform and region.
- CXM does not appear to offer dedicated position-size or risk calculators. However, its trading platforms provide information when preparing an order that can help traders assess potential profit or loss and measure price movement in points or pips before placing a trade.
- CXM offers a VPS service for traders looking to run Expert Advisors (EAs) and automated strategies continuously, with the potential benefits of reduced latency and a more stable connection to its trading servers. The service is available free of charge to clients who meet certain eligibility requirements; otherwise, a $25 monthly fee may apply.
- CXM also offers FIX API connectivity, aimed primarily at advanced and higher-volume traders looking for low-latency connectivity and greater flexibility when developing automated trading systems. Its high entry requirement means it is more of a specialist option than one aimed at typical retail traders.
Trust: Multi-jurisdiction regulation with fund safeguards
CXM operates through a multi-entity regulatory structure, with retail-facing group entities regulated in Mauritius, Seychelles and Cambodia. The protections available to clients depend on the entity their account is held with. CXM also provides safeguards including segregated client funds and negative balance protection.
The wider group has regulatory permissions in the UAE and includes CXM Prime Ltd, regulated by the UK's FCA, although the UK entity works exclusively with professional clients and eligible counterparties rather than regular retail clients.

Regulation tiers and alerts
Regulation tier | Country-entity | Specifics |
Mid-tier regulation (moderate investor protection) | Mauritius - Financial Services Commission (FSC) | CXM Global - Investment Dealer Licence GB21026337 |
Low-tier regulation (limited investor protection) | Seychelles - Financial Services Authority (FSA) | CXM Group (SC) Ltd - Foreign Exchange Dealer Licence SD231 |
Cambodia - Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) | CXM Co. Ltd - Licence 042 N.M.K. |
Note: CXM also holds regulatory permissions in the UAE through CXM Securities LLC , although these cover the introduction and promotion of financial services rather than the execution of client trades or holding of client funds . The group also includes FCA-regulated CXM Prime Ltd in the UK, which serves professional clients and eligible counterparties rather than retail clients .
Also, CXM recently acquired TD Markets - one of the oldest brokers in South Africa - to get access to their license with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority FSP49128 .
Other protection
- CXM provides Negative Balance Protection to eligible retail clients. If extreme market conditions cause an account to fall below zero, CXM covers the negative balance. The protection is subject to CXM's terms and may be withdrawn where the broker determines that the policy has been abused.
- CXM states that client funds are held in segregated accounts, separate from the company's operational funds and held with selected financial institutions. This means client money is kept separate from funds used for CXM's own business activities.
- CXM maintains Professional Indemnity and Crime Insurance with cover of up to $5 million. The policy provides an additional layer of protection against specified professional liability and crime-related risks, although it should not be considered equivalent to an investor compensation or deposit insurance scheme.
Reputation
CXM has a generally good reputation among retail traders, with much of the customer feedback pointing to helpful support and positive experiences with deposits and withdrawals. Our experience was similar. Opening an account was quick; we found the Client Portal easy to use, and both our deposit and withdrawal were completed without any major problems.
Trading was also generally reliable, although we experienced some lag and a brief platform freeze when market activity increased. We also had an MT5 login issue following a server update, which we managed to resolve. Similar issues appear occasionally in customer feedback, alongside complaints involving withdrawals, account access and execution.
We also found several recent complaints relating to swap-free accounts. Customers alleged that charges or other amounts had been deducted before they were notified of changes to their swap-free status. CXM responded to several of these complaints and indicated that the cases would be investigated. We could not independently verify the circumstances behind the individual disputes, but several customers raised similar concerns.
Overall, customer sentiment towards CXM is positive and largely reflects our own experience. Our experience with account opening, deposits and withdrawals was positive, and customer support was responsive when we needed assistance. Trading was generally reliable, although we did experience some lag and a few platform-related issues. There are some more serious complaints among the customer feedback, but these make up a much smaller proportion of the reviews we found.
Customer Service and Support: Multilingual support with weekend availability
CXM provides multilingual customer support 24 hours a day throughout the main trading week, with additional support hours at weekends. Clients can contact the broker through live chat and email, with live chat providing the quickest way to speak directly with a member of the support team.

Support availability
CXM provides multilingual customer support 24 hours a day throughout the main trading week, with additional support hours at weekends. Assistance is available through live chat and email. During our testing, live chat was responsive, connecting us with a support agent in around one minute, making it a convenient option for obtaining direct assistance with account and trading-related questions.
Usefulness
During our testing, CXM's customer support was responsive and helpful. Live chat was the quickest way to speak directly with an agent, while email enquiries were also answered promptly. The agents we dealt with were polite and professional, and we were usually able to get assistance without lengthy waits.
The information provided was clear and useful, although some of our more specific questions needed a little more prompting before we got the answers we needed. Overall, we had a positive experience with CXM's customer service.
User Experience: Easy to navigate with a few regional differences
CXM's website is well organised and easy to navigate, with quick access to its platforms, products, account types and client services. During our testing, pages loaded smoothly and we found it easy to move between the different areas of the site. We noticed differences in content and navigation between CXM's regional websites, so some resources were easier to find in some regions than others.
Clean and straightforward website navigation
Some content varies between regional websites
Quick and easy account opening
Web design and navigation
CXM's website has a clean, professional design with a straightforward main navigation menu. Important areas, including platforms, products, account types, services and education, are clearly separated, with dropdown submenus providing quick access to individual pages. The website footer also includes an extensive menu, giving users another convenient way to reach important sections without returning to the top of the page.
Pages were responsive and quick to navigate during our testing, and the overall structure makes it relatively easy to move between product information, account specifications and trading platforms. The presentation is fairly conventional rather than particularly innovative, but information is generally well organised and easy to follow.
We noticed some differences in content and navigation between CXM's regional websites, particularly around its educational resources. Some content was easier to find on certain regional websites than others, although the resources themselves were useful once found. More consistent navigation across the regional websites would make this content easier to discover.

Mobile App friendliness
CXM's mobile offering includes CXM Hub for account management and CXM Trader for trading, alongside the MT4 and MT5 mobile apps. CXM Hub closely mirrors the web-based Client Portal, making it relatively straightforward to manage accounts and access client services from mobile.
CXM Trader offers a clear and practical mobile trading experience, with good-quality charts, technical indicators, drawing tools and the ability to place trades directly from the app. It took us a little time to become familiar with the layout, but navigation became easier once we had used it for a while. The charts were particularly clear and easy to use, although we noticed minor visual inconsistencies elsewhere in the wider layout and presentation.
For the most part, the apps were stable during normal market conditions. We did notice some lag when opening or modifying positions, particularly when market activity increased. For charting and managing positions, CXM Trader worked well, although the occasional lag was noticeable when trading.
Account opening process
We found the account opening process quick and easy, taking us around five minutes from registration through identity verification. We did not need to contact customer support at any stage. Once verification was complete, we had access to the Client Portal and could download and set up the trading platforms.
We could also open additional trading accounts from the Client Portal in just a few clicks. Login details appeared almost immediately and were also sent by email. Setting up MT4, MT5 or CXM Trader required one extra step, as the relevant login credentials had to be entered manually.
Final Thoughts
CXM offers a flexible multi-asset trading environment, with more than 1,000 CFDs, several account types and a good choice of platforms, including MT4, MT5, CXM Trader and TradingView. Low minimum deposits and Cent trading provide an accessible starting point for beginners, while commission-based accounts and very high leverage may appeal more to active and experienced traders. Forex, Gold and Silver can reach 2000:1, with unlimited leverage also available to eligible Standard and ECN clients.
CXM operates through several regulated entities, with the level of protection depending on where a client's account is held. Its retail-facing entities are regulated in Mauritius, Seychelles and Cambodia, while the wider group includes an FCA-regulated UK entity serving professional clients and eligible counterparties. Segregated client funds and negative balance protection provide additional safeguards, although traders should still consider the regulatory entity applicable to their account, particularly when using higher levels of leverage.
Our experience with CXM was largely positive. Account opening took around five minutes, funding was quick, our withdrawal was straightforward, and customer support responded promptly through live chat and email. CXM Trader also worked well for charting and managing positions on the go, although we experienced some lag when opening or modifying positions, particularly as market activity increased. Overall, CXM is likely to appeal to those looking for broad market access, plenty of account and platform choice and considerable flexibility in how traders can trade. The regulatory protection available and the occasional platform and execution issues we experienced are also worth considering.
