Weltrade launches SyntX World Cup 2026 - A $100,000 global trading tournament to mark 20 years in the market
Free to enter, zero risk - traders across four global regions compete on demo accounts for the largest prize pool in synthetic indices trading
Weltrade, the international CFD broker celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026, today announced the launch of the SyntX World Cup 2026 – a global trading competition with a $100,000 prize pool, open to traders across Africa, LATAM & Caribbean, Asia & Oceania, and the Rest of the World.
The tournament runs exclusively on SyntX synthetic indices – a proprietary class of volatility-based instruments available on the Weltrade terminal. All participants compete on demo accounts with a virtual $10,000 starting balance, meaning free entry and no risk of real capital loss.
How It Works
Registration opens August 18, 2026. The competition unfolds in two stages: a Qualification Round (August 31 – September 6), where traders compete within their regional group, and a Grand Final (September 14–20), where the top 2,000 qualifiers go head-to-head for the World Champion title. Rankings are determined by percentage return on the demo account during the competition period.
The top 900 qualifiers from Africa, 600 from LATAM & Caribbean, 300 from Asia & Oceania, and 200 from the Rest of the World advance to the Grand Final. The World Champion takes home $20,000 in cash.
Prize Structure
The $100,000 total prize pool spans multiple categories – from regional leaderboard prizes and special nominations including Best New Synthetics Trader ($2,500), Best Comeback ($500), and Newcomer of the Cup ($500), to partner awards and up to 100,000,000 Welcoins distributed across the competition.
IB partners can earn through three dedicated tracks: Best Qualifying Partner (top 3 share $5,000), Best Performing Partners (top 3 share $5,000), and a 10% Prize Share on all cash prizes won by their referred traders.
SyntX: Built for This Tournament
SyntX synthetic indices are available 24/7, unaffected by economic events, news releases, or market hours. The instrument operates independently of real-world financial markets, making it accessible to traders in regions where traditional forex or equity CFDs face restrictions.
For the SyntX World Cup 2026, Weltrade is introducing two new instruments developed specifically for the competition: MaxPainX and MaxGainX. Designed to deliver heightened volatility profiles, these instruments were engineered to test trader skill under more intense market conditions – making the World Cup not just a competition, but the first live showcase of Weltrade's newest synthetic index technology.
MaxPainX and MaxGainX are available exclusively on the Weltrade MT5 terminal from August 18, 2026.
A Tournament Built for the Next 20 Years
Twenty years in this industry teaches you one thing: traders want performance, not promises. SyntX gives them a market that never closes, never pauses for a news event, and never requires a minimum deposit to get started. The World Cup is our invitation to the world - come and trade it.
– Ilya Ilyasov, CEO, Weltrade (https://www.linkedin.com/in/ilya-ilyasov/)
With a prize pool significantly above comparable demo trading tournaments in the industry – where most competitors offer $500–$3,500 per event – the SyntX World Cup 2026 represents the largest single competition of its kind in the synthetic indices segment.
